The answer to this is not simple, Termites will in most instances go around the Cypress to find something more desirable to eat or consume. They do not like to eat Cypress hence many timber frame homes are built from Cypress Pine. We do not guarantee it to be termite proof but it will be a last resort if they do choose to eat or move through the Cypress.
