Cypress Sawdust is a by-product of timber mills when cutting timber. It is generally a clean, golden, fine sawdust that is available in 2 forms: aged or fresh. Aged Cypress Sawdust has a darker appearance and is ideal for use in mixing into soils and organic material to add to composts and soil improvers. Cypress has a high carbon ratio content and is highly desirable for specific applications.
Fresh Cypress Sawdust is rich in colour and fragrance and ideal as a foot bedding for feedlots for cattle and horse yards to reduce the instances of foot rot. It is commonly used in chicken growing sheds where the Cypress is known to reduce the instance of beetles and bugs that slow the growth in young chickens.
